Your feedback is precious to us, so thank you for taking a time to write your opinion. We were aware that it has been particularly difficult to book routine appointments. We have been working hard to improve access to emergency on the day appointments due to growing demand and unfortunately this has had a knock on effect on the availability of routine appointments. Our practice is growing steadily and this is putting pressure on all our appointments. We have taken on new staff over the last few months and are hoping that this will improve our capacity. Since the beginning of last year we have made routine telephone appointments available for pre booking to try to relieve some of the pressure on our face to face appointments. We have also created on the day appointments which are released at 8am every morning on a first come first served basis. We appreciate these are often booked up quickly. Our receptionists can also look at availability of appointments at our sister clinic (Florence Rd Surgery) where we have limited access to appointments on evenings and weekends. We also have a duty doctor on call at all times to deal with urgent queries and offer urgent on the day appointments. This is work in progress and we hope you can see a difference already.
